All members of the SSIX consortium met for a General Assembly on November 17th and18th 2015 in Dublin. The meeting was hosted by NUIG at the DCU campus in Dublin. The partners had the opportunity to discuss the progress of the project and the next steps to take to further develop SSIX.
Within two days of consortium discussions and bilateral meetings, the participants settled open questions concerning the architecture and agreed on best practices for the language processing. Legal and ethical questions concerning licensing and data use were also discussed and commercial goals were reviewed.
The development of SSIX is progressing fast and the meeting kicked off a concentrated final sprint for the year 2015!
